During visits to public schools, us ISM students were shocked to find that many children lacked access to clean, cold drinking water. Moved to take action, we partnered with Manila Water Foundation and built an IoT device to monitor water fountains—combining innovation with compassion. We went on site and installed a test device, even going to Manila Water’s factory to learn more about this field.
The test installation of an IoT device marked a step forward in ensuring clean and sustainable drinking water access for public schools. The first test of the device went successfully. This pilot showcased the potential of data-driven solutions in addressing health and sanitation issues, but also laid the framework for scaling the technology.
